Privacy Policy

Information about how Smart Trade Services s.r.o. processes the personal data of website visitors, prospective customers and clients.

Effective from: 11 September 2026

1. Data controller

The data controller is Smart Trade Services s.r.o., Company ID: 23306378, VAT ID: CZ23306378, with registered office at Veverkova 2707/1, 301 00 Plzeň, Czech Republic (the “controller”).

The controller has not appointed a data protection officer.

2. Data we process

Through the contact form, we may process your first and last name, email address, telephone number, selected product, approximate trading-account size, message content and related communication data. When you visit the website, standard technical data may also be processed, particularly your IP address, device and browser type, access time and server logs.

Please do not include trading-account credentials, passwords or any other information that is not necessary to handle your enquiry.

3. Purposes and legal bases for processing

  • Handling an enquiry or request and pre-contractual discussions – processing is necessary to take steps at your request before potentially entering into a contract, pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Performance of a contract and provision of support – the legal basis is performance of a contract pursuant to Article 6(1)(b) GDPR.
  • Compliance with accounting, tax and other legal obligations – the legal basis is compliance with a legal obligation pursuant to Article 6(1)(c) GDPR.
  • Website security, communication records and protection of legal claims – the legal basis is the controller’s legitimate interest in secure operation, documenting communications and protecting its rights pursuant to Article 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We do not currently use data obtained through the form to send newsletters or other regular marketing communications. If we introduce such a service, it will use a separate, voluntary legal basis and provide a simple opt-out option.

4. Retention period

  • We retain data from an enquiry that does not result in a contract for no longer than 12 months from the last communication.
  • If a contract is concluded, we retain the data for the duration of the contract and subsequently for the period necessary to protect legal claims.
  • We retain accounting and tax documents for the period required by applicable law.
  • We retain technical and security logs only for the period necessary for website security and operation or according to the hosting provider’s settings.

5. Who may receive the data

To the extent necessary, personal data may be disclosed to the hosting and email service provider Active24, persons providing technical administration of the website and information systems, accounting or legal advisers, and public authorities where required by law. These parties receive only the data necessary for the relevant purpose.

6. External content and Myfxbook

We display performance widgets and links from Myfxbook on the website. When they are loaded, technical data such as your IP address and browser information may be transferred to the Myfxbook service provider. Further processing is governed by the Myfxbook Privacy Policy. When external services are used, data may be processed outside the European Economic Area subject to the provider’s terms.

Links to social networks and other external websites redirect you to services operated by third parties. Their policies apply once you visit those services.

7. Cookies and analytics

The website may use technical cookies necessary for secure operation and correct functionality. These cookies do not require consent. We currently do not use Google Analytics or other marketing or profiling analytics. If we introduce optional analytics in the future, it will only be activated based on the visitor’s relevant consent settings, and we will update this policy.

8. Requirement to provide data

Providing data through the form is voluntary. Without the required contact details and basic information about the enquiry, however, we may be unable to respond or prepare an appropriate offer.

9. Your rights

Subject to the conditions set out in the GDPR, you have the right to request access to your personal data, its rectification or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. If any processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.

10. Automated decision-making

When processing the personal data of visitors and prospective customers, we do not carry out automated individual decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

11. Security and policy changes

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or misuse. We may amend this policy, particularly when our services, tools or legal requirements change. The current version will always be available on this page.
